The top floor and the brightest of our three studios, under an exposed wood-beam ceiling, with its own balcony and a small terrace, the terrazzino. About 40 m² (roughly 430 sq ft), sleeping two guests.

The space
Light and outdoor space
Secondo is the top-floor studio and gets the most light. It has its own balcony and a small terrace, the terrazzino, set with a café table and umbrella, with a glimpse of the gulf. French doors open from the living area.
Sleeping
Exposed wood beams run through the whole studio. The queen bed sits in its own alcove, lit by a soft strip of light in the ceiling niche, with reading lights either side and a painting of sardines above the headboard. The living area has a comfortable couch beside the French doors.
Kitchen
A compact kitchen with a marble countertop and backsplash, cooktop, sink, fridge and an espresso maker, with open shelves for baskets and a cutting board. The wood beams carry through above it.
Bathroom
A glass-enclosed shower with a deep blue tile wall, a rain showerhead, a wall-hung toilet and a marble vanity, under the same wooden ceiling.
Where you are
Casa Gigante is in the historic center of Castellammare del Golfo, on the north-west coast of Sicily, above the fishing harbor. The castle, the Chiesa Madre, the market and the sea are all a short walk from the door.
Scopello, the Riserva dello Zingaro and the Greek temple at Segesta are a short drive away. Trapani airport (TPS) is about 40 minutes by car, Palermo (PMO) about an hour. Parking is free on the street, first come, first served; streets in the historic center are narrow.
